Records Set & Medals Won at the Australian Masters Games, Adelaide

CONGRATULATIONS & WELL DONE to the small but enthusiastic team who enjoyed a few fun days competing at the Australian Masters Games in Adelaide over the weekend of 7 & 8 October – Heidi Van der Reest, James Belstead and Sharon Smith (Huon Valley, THV), and Christine Brown (Burnie, TBU). Some excellent swims were recorded, and everyone came home with plenty of medals and huge smiles!

Individual medals:

Christine Brown (TBU): 6 GOLD for 100M Free, 200M Free & 400M Free, 50M Back, 100M Back & 200M Back.

Heidi Van der Reest (THV): 2 GOLD for 200M IM & 400M Free, 3 SILVER for 100M IM, 50M Breast & 50M Fly, with 1 BRONZE for 100M Free.

James Belstead (THV): 6 GOLD for 100M IM, 200M IM & 400M IM, 100M Breast & 200M Breast, and 400M Free.

Sharon Smith (THV): 2 BRONZE for 25M Fly & 50M Fly.
