Masters Swimming Tasmania is keen to recognise and support the ever-growing number of our members participating in Open Water events around the state. In conjunction with the popular Tasmanian Ocean Swim Series and in co-operation with Surf Life Saving Tasmania, MST conducts an Open Water Mini-Series, the MST ‘Oceans Treble’, between December 2023 and February 2024.
Due to some cancellations of TOSS events, swimmers may score points as follows:
A least two of the following nominated Ocean Swims:
- TOSS: Bellerive Beach – BSP1200 Saturday 30 December 2023
- TOSS: Bridport – Swim the Pier Saturday 13 January 2024
- TOSS: Penguin Island Swim Sunday 21 January
- TOSS: Kingston Beach – Australia Day Swim Friday 26 January 2024
Plus, one other TOSS event.
NB: Points are awarded for the long swim only.
Awards will be made to MST members gaining the highest points in their age/gender groups, and a Club Trophy will be awarded to the highest scoring MST club.
