2026 SCLD Interclub Meet RESULTS
The MST SCLD Interclub meet at the brand-new Southern Beaches Swim Centre was everything a swimming meet should be — friendly, low-key and stress-free!
The meet stepped in to replace the SCLD Championship originally scheduled for Launceston, with a similar interclub event expected to take place in Launceston in the coming weeks.
There were 14 swimmers. who enjoyed this fantastic new, state-of-the-art aquatic facility, with its light-filled, open design, clever use of space and safe, comfortable environment. And the racing conditions? Excellent!
These will be announced once final confirmation of the pool dimensions is received. Just a few more days, folks — patience!
Congratulations to all our swimmers, and a HUGE thank you to everyone who gave up part of their Saturday afternoon to make the meet happen.
Alex Branch was able to step in to be our Meet Referee. Steve Richards took on the role of Starter using the newly acquired starting equipment. Pauline Samson once again competently undertook her role of Recorder. Our volunteers make these events possible, and we couldn’t do it without you
