2026 MST Oceans Treble Finale – Clifton Beach
The fifth and final event of this year’s MST Ocean Treble was held today at Clifton Beach with the inaugural Deep South Cliff Swim.
There’s something special about lining up for the very first running of an ocean swim. The buzz is different, the community spirit runs deep, and everyone knows they’re part of the beginning of something new.
The Deep South Cliff Swim certainly delivered. Hosted by Clifton Beach Surf Life Saving Club as part of the Tasmanian Ocean Swim Series, this new event showcased a spectacular course framed by dramatic coastal cliffs and calm, protected water — southern Tasmania at its salty best. A sparkling morning, clear warm water and fantastic vibes all around reminded us exactly why we swim in the ocean.
The Oceans Treble Results will be announced next Sunday at the Masters Swimming Tasmania Presentation Luncheon at the Hobart Tennis Centre, immediately following Session 2 of the Summer Championships.
A big thank you to Clifton Beach Surf Life Saving Club for a fantastic inaugural event, seamless organisation, and those much-appreciated post-swim snacks!
