Tough Tasmanians excel on the Gold Coast
What an incredible day for MST members at the Pan Pacific Masters Games on the stunning Gold Coast! 🌊✨
In the women’s 4km Open Water swim, the podium was absolutely classy—and Tasmanian-tough! 🏅🏅
🏆 Gold went to none other than Jayde Richardson (THB), the powerhouse swimmer and English Channel veteran, who proved once again she’s in a league of her own in open water.
🥈 Silver was claimed by the legendary Jenny Whitely (NRY), a multiple world and national pool record holder, who continues to show that her versatility across all disciplines is second to none.
🥉 Bronze went to the ever-determined Anne Henderson (TAC), another English Channel ace, who rounded out the podium with a swim that showcased her trademark strength and stamina.
These three women delivered stellar performances today, each showing that age is no barrier to greatness—only a number! 🌟👏
Huge congratulations to Jayde, Jenny, and Anne on their amazing achievements. You’ve set the bar high, and we’re all inspired by your dedication and brilliance in the water. Can’t wait to see what’s next for these incredible athletes! 🏊♀️🔥
