Australian Finswimming Championships:- 24 February 2024

Ever tried Finswimming?

For the first time in 12 years, NSW will be hosting the Australian Finswimming Championships.  Since that time freestyle swimming with flippers has been added to the Finswimming competitions.

The Championships will be at the Sans Souci pool on 24 February 2024 and will also be the selection trials for World Championships, Open, Masters (35-100) and University games.

This would be a great opportunity for swimmers to consider international competition in a slightly different format.

Earlier this year two swimmers one from Queensland and one from SA, donned their fins and snorkel and attended the World Masters Finswimming championships in Egypt, and between them breaking 5 world Masters bifin records.  You can be part of the next World Championships if you attend the Sans Souci competition in the bifin events and your coach and club could boast a world champion!
